The Games will start on July 31st. Back in Nov. 2008, Don Hardman, Vice President and General Manager of the 2009 World Police and Fire Games has announced that Ampco
has been selected to be their official supplier of the graphics, banners and signage for their Games being held next year in Burnaby.
This success has been led by Ampco's past work with the 2006 World Juniors and the 2007 Memorial Cup.

2009 May: Ampco Manufacturers Plant Tour
In collaboration with Eptech Vancouver, Ampco held a Plant Tour all afternoon on May 28th and welcomed appx 60 guests. The 1-hour tour covered Ampco's capabilities in diecutting, converting, screen printing, wide-format digital printingin and electronics manufacturing. It was the first time for Ampco to open the door to show the facility since the move in 2008, and it was overall a successful Tour day.
2009 February: Ampco Grafix at Buildex Vancouver
Ampco Grafix was a part of Buildex Vancouver, the biggest tradeshow in Western Canada for Interior Design, Architecture, Property Development and Construction.
At the booth, Ampco Grafix had its original, in-house printed carpet, backdrop banner, product displays and portfolio posters and attracted a lot of professionals.
2009 January: Ampco Grafix Participates in SkyTrain's Charity Initiative
Ampco has wrapped a SkyTrain with a complimentary red gift wrap to support SkyTrain's "Giving Back Moving Forward" charity campaign.
The charity initiatives involve collection of non-perishable food & cash for the Food Bank and blood donation for the Red Cross.
